The University Core curriculum is a four-year, cohesive program of study anchored by this question: As students of a Catholic, Jesuit, and Humanistic University, how do we educate ourselves to become women and men for a more just and humane global community? As part of the CORE curriculum, first-year students participate in a first-year seminar course which introduces new Gonzaga students to the University, the Core Curriculum, and Gonzaga’s Jesuit mission and heritage. The seminar format of the course highlights the participatory character of university life, emphasizing that learning is an active, collegial process. Click here to browse previous seminar topics.
