CAPN Meeting & NUCAW Conference 2027

Gonzaga University | April 16-17, 2027

Gonzaga University's Department of Classical Civilizations is proud to host the 56th Annual Classical Association of the Pacific Northwest (CAPN) Meeting alongside the 2027 Northwest Undergraduate Conference on the Ancient World (NUCAW) on April 16–17, 2027, in Spokane, Washington.

This joint regional conference brings together faculty, independent scholars, graduate students, and undergraduate researchers to share original studies across classical history, literature, archaeology, and ancient languages. Highlights include a keynote address by Dr. Curtis Dozier (Vassar College) on "Politics and History/Politics of History: Ten Years of Studying White Nationalist Classicism" and dedicated presentation panels designed to foster intergenerational academic collaboration across the Pacific Northwest.
