More about Delaney

Future plans:

After I graduate I’ll be going abroad to participate in the World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms for the summer where I’ll live with a host family and help them upkeep their organic farm. In the fall I plan to return to Spokane and work at Resource Synergy to further sustainable business practices.

How has your major contributed to your professional or personal development?

Studying ENVS has allowed me to learn more about the complex dynamics of our world and that has helped me consider diverse stakeholders who are important to engage with because they could or will be affected by decisions.

What has been your proudest or most significant accomplishment during your Gonzaga career?

Starting my own small business, Bug’s Bread, is something I’m very proud of. I started it in August, 2021 where I’ve applied what I’ve learned in my classes into something I can call my own. I’ve gotten to meet a lot of students I wouldn’t have otherwise interacted with so it’s been a lot of fun!
