Future plans:

Post undergrad, I plan to pursue a masters in music therapy and eventually participate in (and hopefully lead) research once I establish myself in the field.

How has your major contributed to your professional or personal development?

Getting to experience music making and biological sciences in tandem with my two degrees has opened my eyes to me passion for using music as a healing vessel, and has guided me towards my aspirations to become a music therapist.

What has been your proudest or most significant accomplishment during your Gonzaga career?

Getting to discover and share a new, unique bacteriophage with the scientific community has been my proudest moment here at GU. It was the first time I felt like I was contributing in a meaningful way to the scientific community and it gave me a sense of belonging I hadn't had before.
