Gonzaga is committed to students' success, academically and professionally. Whether you are seeking a new career path or looking to expand in your current role, we offer several high quality career management services that will help get you where you want to go.
Please see the information below about some of the career resources Gonzaga provides.
The Gonzaga Career Center provides valuable services and resources to prepare MBA and MAcc students for successful careers in business. Students are encouraged to utilize any or all of the following services:
MBA & MAcc Career Weeks
Twice per year, in October and February, the Gonzaga Career Center hosts MBA & MAcc Career weeks, during which students receive training on resume writing, cover letter writing, interviewing, and networking. These sessions, which are only open to graduate business students, are conducted immediately prior to evening classes.
Community and business leaders volunteer their time to interview students. Following the interview, the student's presentation skills are evaluated by the interviewer. This process sharpens the communication skills and building confidence for interviewers with recruiters.
Career Resources Library
Company profiles and annual reports, as well as position openings, are accessible to student and alumni who visit the Career Center.
Resume Writing and Cover Letter Workshops
Career Center staff provide insight about how to compose cover letters and resumes that will stand out and get employers' attention. You can also have your resume or cover letter reviewed individually by the staff.
On-Campus Interviewing and Recruiting
More than 125 corporate recruiters visit the Gonzaga campus during the fall and spring semesters to share employment information and to discuss career opportunities.

The Gonzaga Alumni Mentorship Program (GAMP) is a mentoring and networking program designed for Gonzaga University students, alumni and friends. Students and graduates are matched with mentors who share similar career fields, geographic locations or other interests. The program's primary goal is to establish a relationship between the mentee and mentor that facilitates better career decision-making and the development of a network that can result in increased job opportunities.
GAMP matches both full-time and part-time students with professionals in their fields of interest. This program is a valuable career enhancement tool for Gonzaga MBA and MAcc students and alumni. GAMP offers graduate business students and alumni the opportunity to develop professional networking contacts, exchange information, and share personal experiences and interests.
GAMP also arranges TREKS every year to Seattle, Portland, New York, and the Bay Area. The treks consist of corporate excursions, which allow students to view organizations from the inside, career fairs which are held exclusively for GU students and feature roughly 30 of the area's top employers, and keynote networking socials.
The key advantage of GAMP resides in its participants. Gonzaga alumni from the business community offer mentorship and referrals to Gonzaga students and fellow alumni. Currently, GAMP Chapters exist in Spokane, Seattle, Portland, Boise, San Francisco and San Jose. For more information regarding GAMP please contact:
The MBA & MAcc Alumni network is led by Adriane Leithauser, Alumni Outreach Specialist. Adriane works to keep our alumni connected to one another and to act as a resource for current students. This is accomplished through quarterly alumni socials and alumni newsletters. Our MBA & MAcc graduates act as valuable resources for professional mentorship, and also for job referrals. To receive alumni updates and information, contact Adriane at email@example.com.
Gonzaga University's internship program is designed to provide benefits to both students and business partners. Interns are able to receive academic credit and wages, gain significant and diverse business experience, and increase their marketability and productivity after graduation. For more information regarding internships, please contact Connie Lipsker, Internship Director, at (509) 313-7042 or by email at Lipsker@jepson.gonzaga.edu.
