CLEP & Proficiency Exams

The College Level Examination Program (CLEP) allows you to test out of subjects by demonstrating proficiency on CLEP exams. Students study independently, and then schedule their exam either through Gonzaga or through another testing center.  If you do not pass a CLEP exam, you must wait 6 months to re-take it. This penalty is incurred regardless if you choose to report or not to report your scores.

FEES:  (Effective January 1, 2013)
All fees are due to the testing center administrator on the day of the exam before the test is administered.  The testing center accepts Visa or Mastercard.
NO CASH OR CHECKS ARE ACCEPTED.

CLEP EXAMS: $122
Proficiency Exams: $100
Proctored Exams: $35 per hour (additional time will be prorated)

Testing candidates who do not have a registered parking permit are restricted to parking along Sharpe Avenue and Astor or in marked Visitor Parking slots.  Please use this map to reference acceptable parking locations.  On this map, the Jepson Center is labeled as "JC".

These exams are designed specifically for Gonzaga Students. The exams are expressly for Gonzaga MBA and MAcc pre-requisites, and will not act as transfer credit to other universities.
