Green Room Series

You’re invited to join the Myrtle Woldson Performing Arts Center for our Green Room Series this Spring! Audiences aren’t able to gather in person, but we’re now offering a virtual series for your entertainment. The series will be similar to a book club, but for performing arts!

In January, we will post a list of artists and dates for the series. You will simply click on links to register for each event in the series. A confirmation e-mail will provide you access to 15-20 minutes of video content 10 days before the event, but you are also welcome to register earlier. Feel free to watch the video content as often as you wish!

On the day of the Green Room Series event, you will click on another link in the confirmation e-mail to attend a 30-minute Zoom webinar with the artist, moderated by Laura Sims, Director of the Myrtle Woldson Performing Arts Center. Would you like to know why a dance company chose a specific piece of music for their performance? Are you interested in how the musicians met and formed a group? Are you curious about how far a theatre troupe has traveled to perform? This is your chance to ask questions and hear stories from the stage!

You will receive a short survey after the event. This will help us to determine the type of artist to bring to Spokane for a future live performance! Your e-mail and mailing address provided during registration will be used for further communication with the Myrtle Woldson Performing Arts Center.

The Green Room Series will be presented at no cost to you, and we encourage you to share the news of this series with everyone in Spokane and the surrounding area – the more the merrier! However, we greatly appreciate any support you would like to provide for this series or for future programming.
