Unlock Your Career Potential with the
Global Career Accelerator

The College of Arts & Sciences and the School of Business Administration are proud to partner with Podium Education to offer the Global Career Accelerator (GCA). This fully-digital, for-credit program empowers students of any major to bridge the gap between their academic studies and the modern workforce. Through real-world projects with global companies, you will build high-demand technical skills and intercultural competence—all while earning credit toward your degree.

Why Enroll in the Accelerator?

This isn't just another online course; it is an experiential learning opportunity designed to make you a more competitive candidate for internships and full-time careers.

  • Real-World Experience: Work on projects for major organizations like Netflix, Intel, Airbnb, and the Grammy Awards.
  • In-Demand Technical Skills: Gain proficiency in high-growth fields such as Digital Marketing, AI, Data Analysis, and Web Development.
  • Global Collaboration: Join a virtual classroom with students from across the globe, working in small teams of 4–6 guided by industry mentors. Develop your ability to communicate and collaborate with a diverse set of business professionals.

How It Works

The GCA is designed to fit seamlessly into your existing schedule:

  • Format: A fully-digital, summer term or semester-long program that runs year-round.
  • Structure: Includes both asynchronous modules (work at your own pace) and Weekly LiveLabs (synchronous sessions for team collaboration and industry interaction).
  • Faculty-Led: While Podium provides the digital platform and related instruction, a Gonzaga faculty member serves as the Instructor of Record, providing academic oversight and grading.
  • Accessibility: The program is open to students at any stage of their college career, making it an ideal way for first- and second-year students to begin career development early.
