ALL of the following items must be submitted to the above address:
Completed Electronic Application, along with a non-refundable $50 fee made payable to the School of Professional Studies (for campus-based students). Online only students have a separate application process, view online information here.
A written Personal Statement from the applicant which:
- describes the applicant's interest in the Communication and Leadership Studies degree,
- assesses the applicant's strengths, and
- describes what the applicant hopes to gain from this graduate degree;
Two Letters of Recommendation from an employer, professional colleague, or major professor which evaluate the applicant's ability and capacity to complete a graduate degree (use the Confidential Recommendation Form);
Official Transcripts from each college and university attended (international applicants must submit foreign transcripts in the original language and an English copy);
The Official Score from the recommended MAT (Miller Analogies Test) or the GRE (must be less than five years old), a requirement which can be waived if the applicant has an advanced degree;
A Resume of professional experience.
International Students must also submit:
Foreign transcripts in the original language mailed directly from the institution.
- Officially evaluated transcripts using WES or ECE sent directly to Gonzaga.
A Financial Declaration Form and supporting bank statement.
Official TOEFL score for applicants whose native language is not English (minimum score of 580 written, 213 computer-based or 88 iBT). Or, IELTS score of 6.5 or higher.
NOTE: International students can not receive an I-20 from enrolling in the online program; they must take courses at the Spokane campus. For more information on the International Student Program please call (509) 313-6563.
