Student ID Cards
Your GU ID acts as is your library card and is required for many general uses at Gonzaga, including sporting events. To obtain your ID Card go to Student Accounts in College Hall room 024 or use one of their mail-in options. Be advised offices on campus may close for lunch.
Zagmail - GU Email
Your GU email account, Zagmail, is very important. Professors and Graduate School Staff use your Zagmail as primary contact. You are responsible for all information sent to your Zagmail. To obtain your Zagmail account, go to the helpdesk in the basement of the Foley Library after receiving your student ID or call the Help Desk at 509-313-5550. Please note: Gonzaga has had issues with the blocking/junk-mail functions of non-GU email accounts such as hotmail, gmail, yahoo, etc. If you forward your Zagmail to any of these accounts, you many not receive important (and official) emails from Gonzaga.
Course Registration
ZAGWEB: Your resource for course registration and up-to-date course offerings. We encourage you to register as soon as possible for trailer courses. Please set up an appointment with your advisor in advance of registration to secure an available advising slot. For information on how to use Zagweb, click here.
Blackboard: When you register for classes you are automatically registered on Blackboard.
NOTE: Not all classes will be on Blackboard as professors have to turn on their Blackboard site manually. If you do not see your course via Blackboard, please contact your professor directly. For information on how to use Blackboard click here.To Add or Drop a Course: Students have one week from the first day of class to DROP a course (removes course from transcript, no grade assigned, and tuition is reimbursed). After that they can WITHDRAW (course shows on transcript with a W grade, but does not impact their GPA, and no tuition reimbursed). Students can WITHDRAW from a course up until 3 weeks of the last day of the course. Proper paperwork must be processed for both dropping and withdrawing from courses. The forms can be found on the registrars' website.
Courses that are CLOSED: If a course is closed, you can email the professor to see if they will allow you to register. The professor must email Jinny Piskel with permission. You must then email the CRN and ID to Jinny at piskel@gonzaga.edu to be registered.
Pre-req Policy for Registration in 600 Level Courses: MBA and MAcc students can not be registered for 600 level courses unless they have successfully completed the appropriate pre-req course or CLEP exam. If you are taking the pre-req course the semester before the 600 level course, we can accept an email from the pre-req professor once midterms (major exams) have been completed. This email must state that you are in good standing (receiving a B or better). We can then register you for the 600 level course. The professor must email us your final grade for the pre-req immediately upon completion of the course and mail us official transcripts if applicable. If you do not receive a C or better in the pre-req course, you will be dropped from the 600 level course. For more information on pre-requisites, please click here.
CLEP: If you need to fulfill a pre-requisite requirement, CLEP exams are being offered at Gonzaga University School of Business for certain pre-requisite subjects. For more information, click here.

Financial Aid is available to graduate students, but you must fill out a FAFSA. For more information go to Gonzaga's financial aid website. We also offer scholarships through the Graduate School of Business and Graduate Assistantships.
Graduate Assistantships are an excellent way for students to work with faculty and staff in the school of business while earning $15/hour. Students are partnered with faculty and staff based on their interests and skill sets. Most assistantships are for 5-15 hours per week, and on average students are able to earn approximately $2,000 per semester. Last year, over 80% of eligible applicants were awarded an assistantship.
Scholarships in the Graduate School of Business provide financial assistance to students of high promise who demonstrate significant potential to benefit from graduate education.
- International Student Scholarships provide financial assistance to international students of high promise who demonstrate significant potential and benefit from graduate education.
