12th Annual
Spokane Intercollegiate Research Conference
Held at Gonzaga University
APRIL 26, 2014
The Spokane Intercollegiate Research Conference, to be held on April 26, 2014 on the Gonzaga University campus, is an opportunity for college students from all disciplines to present their own research in panels or in poster sessions. In November 2013, when the Call for Proposals will be posted on this website, students will be able to propose oral or poster presentations and faculty may propose panels. The deadline for applications will be in February 2014, so presentations may be about research experiences from both the fall and spring semesters.
Students who have presented at SIRC in the past have cited the following as most worthwhile:
- Hearing about excellent scholarship from a variety of fields
- Seeing what other students and researchers are working on
- Getting experience presenting their own work to an audience
- Getting feedback from outside sources
SIRC is open to students from Gonzaga University, Whitworth University, Washington State University-Spokane, Eastern Washington University, North Idaho College, and the Spokane Community Colleges.
