The Gonzaga University Men’s Chorus is a select male ensemble of 15-20 voices that is rooted in the Jesuit, Catholic, and humanistic traditions. It performs a variety of sacred and secular repertoire from the Medieval to Modern historical periods and from diverse cultures. Choral literature includes unaccompanied works as well asworks with various instruments. Gonzaga has a deep tradition of Men's Glee Club singing under the leadership of Lyle W. Moore, winning national competitions and awards. Gonzaga's modern Men's Chorus gives homage to this tradition while also forging a new path with its repertoire and community. Major performances include the Glee Club Reunion, official Fall Family Weekend, university events and liturgies, and concerts.
Membership by audition is open to all Gonzaga students, regardless of major or class standing. For audition or upcoming performance information, please contact the conductor, Timothy Westerhaus.
