Gonzaga University Visiting Writers Series


The 2015-16 Gonzaga University Visiting Writers Series is sponsored by the Departments of English, Religious Studies, and Environmental Studies, UMEC, the College of Arts and Sciences, and the Academic Vice President.  Off campus, the series is supported by the Davenport Hotel.

All events are free and open to the public.  


October 1, 7:30 pm in the Cataldo Globe Room, Dr. Kimberly Meyer, nonfiction.

October 28, 7:30 pm in the Cataldo Globe Room, Ecopoetics:  A Reading featuring poets Roger Dunsmore, Megan Kaminski, Linda Russo, and Derek Sheffield.

November 19, 7:30 pm in the Cataldo Globe Room, Rattawut Lapcharoensap, fiction.

January 27, 7:30 pm in the Cataldo Globe Room, Manuel Gonzales, fiction.

February 16, 7:30 pm in the Hemmingson Ball Room, Tony Hoagland, poet.

March 29, 7:30 pm in the Wolff Auditorium, Robyn Schiff, poet.

April 17, 7:30 pm i the Wolff Auditorium, Meagan Ciesla and the Gurian Writing Award Winners, fiction, nonfiction, and poetry.
