We hope you appreciate having so much valuable information located at one easy location. While enrolled in the Doctoral Program in Leadership Studies you are expected to be responsible for accessing and using information for current students.
Graduate Student Association
The Doctoral Program also has a voice in the greater Gonzaga University through the Graduate Student Association. Orientation, events, and conferences are funded and coordinated through the GSA. Questions or concerns for the University are also channeled here.
Tools
Doctoral students are expected to familiarize themselves with the tools the program uses to facilitate learning and coordination such as electronic platforms, resources, and documents including and not limited to:
- Zagweb - the university system that allows you to register for classes over the Internet.
- Blackboard - the university platform for providing, organizing, and facilitating classroom learning via the Internet. Your login and password information is as a rule the same you can use to log on to university computers on campus.
- Zagmail - the university email system which is often used as a default email address for students.
- The doctoral mailing list server or "the listserv" - an email based tool used to make announcements.
- DPLS Wiki - a new system based on Wikipedia technology that is currently being used as a knowledge base.
- RefWorks - an online resource and database for storing and organizing reference information in the research process.
- Electronic word processing templates for papers, the candidacy paper, and the dissertation (MS Word)
- Other forms available for download.
Libraries
There are two libraries on campus for your use: Foley and the Chastek Law Library. We recommend becoming acquainted with the resources available at the library for conducting research.
Disability Access and Accommodation Statement
If you need an accommodation based on the impact of a disability, please contact the Director, Disability Resources, Education, and Access Management as soon as possible to verify the need for accommodations and develop accommodation strategies.
