New versions of the templates for the dissertation and for academic papers/candidacy papers are now available.  The dissertation template is DPLSdiss61.dot.  It includes all the "front" materials like acknowledgements, signature page, etc. needed for the dissertation.  The "front" material will need to be deleted for the proposal.  The first page identifying the version of the template will also need to be deleted.  The instructions that had been on the first page of the template will be available in an expanded form as template instructions.  Both the dissertation and the paper template use the same formating styles.  Instructions for the template are in DRAFT and apply to MS Word 2003.  Look for revisions in the future.

There are now two versions of the academic paper/candidacy paper template DPLSpaper62.dot and DPLSpaperTOCAbstract.dot .  The DPLSpaperTOCAbstract includes a built-in Table of Contents and Abstract.  Both are Based on DPLSdiss61.doc and use the same formating styles.  These templates were updated 6-29-05 to correct formatting of the date and move version indentification information to the end of the file.  The template that includes the Abstract and Table of contents was updated on 2-12-07 to correct the format for the page numbers and to remove the title of the paper from the Table of Contents. Revised (June 30, 2008)  Rubrics for evaluating (a) Academic Papers, (b) Candidacy Papers, and (c) Dissertations.
