Josh P. Armstrong, Ph.D. Director, CLP Email: armstrongj@gonzaga.edu Work Phone: 509.313.6493 Office Location: Schoenberg 108 | Dr. Josh Armstrong is a faculty member and newly appointed Director of the Comprehensive Leadership Program for undergraduate students at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. He holds a Ph.D. in education and leadership from Michigan State University, a master's degree in higher education and student affairs from the University of Vermont, and an undergraduate degree in psychology from Whitworth College. Dr. Armstrong's research interests include service-learning, servant leadership, experiential education and transformational learning. In addition to teaching, Dr. Armstrong provides leadership training for student leaders at Gonzaga. Josh serves on the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity-Spokane. He is married and has two boys. He is also an avid backpacker, and has led an Outward Bound wilderness expedition through the Costa Rican rainforests. |

Katie Herzog is the Program Coordinator of the Comprehensive Leadership Program. Her primary duties include assisting students and faculty with registration and event programming needs. Katie received her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin Madison, and is currently pursuing her Masters in Educational Leadership and Administration at WSU. Katie has worked in higher education at the University of Washington, Washington State University, and now at Gonzaga University. She loves spending time with her family, especially camping, biking, and cheering on her two daughters in various sports. |

As the former chair and an assistant professor for the Masters in Organizational Leadership Program, Joe has an extended background in leadership studies. He is a co-founder of the Comprehensive Leadership Program (CLP), and also director of the Renaissance Center for Leadership at Gonzaga. He holds a Ph.D. in leadership, a master's degree in counseling psychology and two undergraduate degrees in business management. In addition to teaching, Joe provides consulting and training services to organizations in a number of areas including; leadership in organizations, psychological issues in leadership, understanding organizations, organizational change, motivation and empowerment. |

Joshua Tabor is a candidate for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy, in the Doctoral Program in Leadership Studies at Gonzaga University. Joshua was born and raised in Honolulu, HI and spent a good eighteen years enjoying the Hawaiian Lifestyle. Since 1990, Joshua has lived on the "mainland" completing his Bachelor’s in History and his Master's in Experiential Education and Outdoor Leadership. His research interests include creating humanistic organizations, innovation, and positive organizational scholarship. Joshua relocated to Spokane, WA in 2004 pursue his doctorate as a full time student. |

Dr. Beth Hellwig-Olson currently serves as the Dean of Student Services at Gonzaga University. Her 30 year career in Higher Education has offered her the opportunity to serve in a variety of positions with Student Affairs. Beth has applied her knowledge of student leadership at several universities such as, New Mexico State University (Las Cruces), Montana State University (Bozeman), Colorado State University (Fort Collins) and at the University of Northern Colorado (Greeley). Beth holds a B. A. Pre-Law/Political Science, a M.Ed. Student Affairs in Higher Education, and a Ph.D. College Student Personnel Administration, as well as, certification in Conflict Resolution and Mediation. Continually reflecting on her own leadership skills, Beth also participates in programs such as Leadership Weld County and Leadership Spokane. |

Kassi Kain is a Spokane native and is the Director of Judicial Affairs and Student Conduct and Off Campus Student Relations. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Washington in Communications, and her Masters of Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga. She is an alumna of Leadership Spokane and is currently pursuing her doctorate in GU's Leadership Studies Program. She has worked in higher education administration for the last eighteen years at University of California/Riverside, Gonzaga University, Jacksonville University and Gonzaga-in-Florence. |

Dr. Mike Poutiatine is a private Educational Consultant and faculty member for the On-line Organizational Leadership Program at Gonzaga University. In addition to teaching, Mike consults with organizations in the areas of educational research and the development of educational organizations. Mike has a special interest in teacher development and improving the organizational support of teachers. |

Lori Matthews is currently a student in Gonzaga's Doctoral Program in Leadership Studies. She is originally from Michigan and since graduating from high school has traveled west to attend college in Iowa, Colorado and Washington. Her background is in sociology and gender studies. Lori works as a qualitative researcher at the Spokane Research laboratory and also teaches sociology part-time at Gonzaga. |

Aaron McMurray serves as the Manager of Systems Services for Dealers Auto Auction Northwest, a high energy business in the growing auto remarketing industry. He is currently a student in Gonzaga's Doctoral Program in Leadership Studies, holds a master's degree in organizational leadership from Gonzaga and an undergraduate degree in history from Whitworth College. Previously, Aaron served as Inland NW Regional Director for Young Life. He and his wife have twin boys and live in Spokane. |
