Dr. Alireza Toghraee, a Lecturer in the Mechanical Engineering department, gives the young women an overview of their week at Gonzaga.

The third SEAS Summer Immersion Program (SSIP) started off on a hot Sunday midday, giving high-school aged girls an opportunity to explore engineering and computer science careers first-hand. For the next several days, these young women will live in a Gonzaga dorm, visit businesses and organizations to see professional engineers at work, and meet other women who have made computer science & engineering their livelihood.
