Gonzaga in Florence prides itself on creating opportunities for our students to become part of the Florentine community.
Our most popular extra-curricular program is English for Pasta, which places our students in local families for an exchange of English lessons for children for a home cooked meal. Many of our students live with families during their time in Florence, and we are always looking for more families to host homestays.
Our students volunteer in many local charities, teach Italian to children at local schools, both private and public, play in local sports tournaments and in clubs, attend a variety of cultural events, and many more activities.
We invite ideas and proposals from local community members on how our students can meet and get involved with the Florentine community.
