Course Reserves: Print Reserves & Electronic Reserves
The purpose of Foley Library’s reserve services is to support faculty and students by providing access to course materials. Faculty may place items on print or electronic reserve, all reserve items (physical and digital) will be automatically added to a Course Reading List.
Print ReservesFaculty may place personal or library-owned copies of books and media materials on print reserve. Items must be in copyright compliance. Print reserves are located behind the Check Out Desk, and may be checked out by students for a set number of hours or days as determined by faculty.

Print Course Reserves Policy
Electronic Reserves with LegantoFoley Library uses Leganto as a platform for electronic reserves. Electronic reserves may be submitted to the library via email at email@example.com.
Foley Library will make use of Fair Use provisions (codified in Section 107 of the Copyright Act) in placing materials on electronic reserves.
In cases in which an item’s use exceeds fair use, Foley Library will assist faculty members in obtaining copyright permission. This includes the Library seeking and paying for permission from the Copyright Clearance Center (CCC) and directly from rights holders.
