Climate Institute Summer Camp

Camp Foley 2026

(Re)Connecting with Spokane

Discover new things about familiar places. This summer, Camp Foley invites middle schoolers to the Foley Center Library for an immersive four-day journey into the heart of the Inland Northwest. Campers will step out of the classroom and onto Gonzaga’s campus to discover where we come from, how we live today, and how they can shape the future of our community.

Camp Foley is a new summer day camp for middle school age kids on Gonzaga University’s campus. Campers will be able to investigate historical artifacts; explore the outdoors in new ways; learn more about Gonzaga’s campus, Spokane, and the surrounding area through maps, photos, stories and new technologies; and be the creators of their own projects.

Each day will include time outside, weather conditions permitting, as well as time in the library collections. Lunch provided in Gonzaga University’s COG.

Camp includes activities from the Foley Library Digital Scholarship Lab, Foley Library Archives & Special Collections, and Gonzaga University Institute for Climate, Water, and the Environment.
