A show of hands tells Dean Karlene A. Hoo how many of the SEAS first-years  have AP, Running Start, or other early college credits. Some first-years are already counted as juniors due to all of their credits gained during high-school years. 

Bulldog band

Bulldog Band director David Fague gives SEAS first-years some information about openings in the band that plays for all men's and women's home basketball games. Engineers and computer science majors make up half of the band!
