This Spring, the Office for the Pedagogy of Hope (PoH) will sponsor a writing circle to support students from underserved communities.
This writing circle is intended to serve students (undergraduate and graduate) and faculty with minoritized identities across all academic disciplines.
During four, two-hour sessions, this group will provide a space for individuals working on writing projects (i.e., undergraduate theses, doctoral dissertations, research, or applications for grant funding or graduate school) to connect with others, create unity and relationships through writing, and receive support and advice from colleagues and faculty. Along with opportunities to connect, sweet treats will be provided.
