In this presentation and discussion, we will talk about PSE’s effort to integrate microgrid technology to its business and the realities of transforming the electric grid.

About the Speaker

Joseph Do joined Puget Sound Energy (PSE) in 2016 and is currently a Senior Engineer in the Grid Modernization Strategy & Enablement group. Prior to PSE, Joseph worked at Seattle City Light within the Grid Modernization and Utility Automation group. Joseph’s background spans across substation design, protection & controls, automation, operational technology networks, and centralized operations design. In Joseph’s current work, he is tasked with leading project teams to mature newer technologies at PSE and advising senior management to make business decisions that helps the company adapt to the clean energy transition. Joseph received his BSEE from the University of Washington and is a licensed Professional Engineer within the state of Washington.
