A widely sought-after speaker on literature, art, film, and the power of the humanities, Dr. Luzzi is the Asher B. Edelman Professor of Literature and Faculty Member in Italian Studies at Bard College. He will discuss his latest book featuring the cultural history of Dante’s
Divine Comedy, and the gripping encounter between the poet and illustrator that resulted in Botticelli’s exquisite drawings.
