A major shift is underway in the transportation sector toward electric transportation – in the light-duty, medium and heavy duty on-road segments, as well as other off-road segments whether moving people or goods. During this presentation and discussion, we will explore why this happening and what it means for our economy, the environment, and the electric grid.

About the Speaker
Rendall Farley joined Avista in 2012 and has led the company’s strategy, research and programs related to Transportation Electrification since 2015. Prior to this, he has served in a variety of roles including engineering, operations management, and organizational development, in both the public and private sectors.
Rendall is a graduate of the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, earned a Masters in Marine Engineering and Naval Architecture and a second masters in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan, an MBA from Eastern Washington University in Finance, and is a registered Professional Engineer in Mechanical Engineering.
