The Human Race is an annual 5k/10k fun run sponsored by the Gonzaga Journal of International Law which benefits the American Cancer Society — a nationwide community-based voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer.
The Human Race was created in 2007 by Gonzaga Law student Kristina Glover, who passed away from a battle with ovarian cancer during her final year of school. The proceeds raised from the event are donated directly to the American Cancer Society to further its goals of saving lives and improving research efforts.
