About This Event
This is the second lecture in our three-part series on the church in the 21st century. Fr. Patrick Baraza, Ph.D. (Senior Lecturer of Religious Studies) will explore the gifts brought to the global church in the 21st century by African churches and how African churches call the global church to renewal.
This series began with a presentation by the late-Fr. Pat Howell, S.J., on Pope Francis in November. There is no need to have attended the previous lecture(s) in order to participate. Light refreshments will be served.
Our third lecture will be held April 23 at 3:00 p.m. in Jundt Lounge. Jodi O'Brien, Ph.D., will explore the topic "Radical Listening, Radical Kinship: A Way Forward for the Church in the 21st Century"
