About This Event

Ben Popp is the head regional film programmer for the Northwest Film Center and Portland International Film Festival. He is also a filmmaker and educator who previously ran a micro cinema and experimental film festival. His own animated films have been screened around the country and internationally. Gonzaga University welcomes Ben to present a new program of award-winning, regionally made documentary films. Ben will speak about filmmaking in the Pacific Northwest and offer advice to filmmakers interested in getting their work seen by a wider audience.
