About This Event

Information security is a field that is both immensely broad and deep; experienced professionals are thin on the ground. The Gonzaga community is invited to a set of talks about the different elements in the cyber security field, to be held Mondays at noon on Zoom. The first talk, on Oct. 12, is an overview of the different career paths in the infosec field, and why you might like to join it.

Considering a career in information security? Please do! is presented by Malcolm Heath, a Senior Threat Researcher at F5 Labs.

About the Speaker

Malcolm Heath is a Senior Threat Researcher with F5 Labs.  His career has included incident response, program management, penetration testing, code auditing, vulnerability research, and exploit development at companies both very large and very small. Prior to joining F5 Labs, he was a Senior Security Engineer with the F5 SIRT.
