About This Event

Highlighting the region's best and brightest young players in the centerpiece collegiate and youth classical guitar competitions, NWGF 2018 also features classes, lectures, and recitals by regional and international concert artists including: Alex Dunn, Paul Grove, Jon Yerby, Neil and Tamara Caulkins, and the South Hill Guitar duo. Held first in 1990, this festival–located at different cities throughout the northwest and Canada on a rotating basis–is the largest festival of its type in the region and serves as the annual classical guitar convention for amateur players, college guitar majors, teachers, performers, luthiers, and enthusiasts of all stripes in Washington, Idaho, Oregon, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, Alberta and British Columbia.
