Gonzaga University's Institute for Informatics & Applied Technology, in partnership with the Center for Lifelong Learning, and AI experts from ThinkPurple, is hosting the Executive AI Think Tank on campus for a small group of regional organizations.
About the Executive AI Think Tank
- When: Thursday, September 10, 6, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (private cocktail hour & dinner at Gander and Ryegrass to follow) and Friday, September 11, 8:00 AM–11:00 AM. Breaks and meals provided.
- Where: Gonzaga University, inside the Innovation Lab, School of Engineering & Applied Science
- Who: 40–50 executives, board members, and innovation leaders from medium-to-large Inland Northwest organizations
- Format: Facilitated group discussions, breakout exercises, and hands-on AI strategy and ideation.

Alex Stanton: Executive strategy expert, speaker, and former technology company founder and CEO
Alex serves as Director of Strategy at the Foundation for Agentic Networks (Cambridge) and brings global experience in AI, cybersecurity, and applied research. He has spent decades leading digital transformation in mid-sized organizations through cross-functional Transformation Councils, rather than relying on IT alone.
Gena Hoxha, Ph.D.: Chief AI and People Officer, human-centered AI transformation strategist
Gena holds a Ph.D. from Gonzaga, is a graduate of the Stanford AI Executive Program, and developed the Transformer Team methodology that underpins the council model. Her work centers on workforce trust, leadership clarity, and cultural readiness for AI-enabled change.
Beyond the Think Tank
The Think Tank is also the entry point into Gonzaga's broader AI Transformation Program, kicking off this September. Participating organizations build an internal AI Transformation Council, identify priority use cases, and work with AI experts, Gonzaga faculty, and graduate researchers to create, manage, and execute an AI roadmap their own teams can lead.
