Mission & Purpose

Rooted in Ignatian values and a Jesuit, Catholic, humanistic tradition, the Woodley Institute fosters civil engagement and dialogue through teaching, service, research, and public events.

We support collaborative projects that benefit Gonzaga and the Spokane community, modeling civil discourse through academic and public programming, and interdisciplinary work among students, faculty, staff, and community members at local, regional, and global levels.
