I have been a nurse for more than 20 years and am passionate about helping nursing students develop the knowledge, confidence, and clinical judgment they need to thrive as professional nurses. My professional interests include pediatric nursing, transition to practice, and nursing regulation.

My clinical nursing background includes pediatric intensive care, pediatric triage, rural health, and school nursing. Most recently, I worked as a substitute school nurse at a DoDEA school in Germany.
I earned both my ADN and BSN from National University, my MSN in Nursing Education from Grand Canyon University, and my DNP in Educational Leadership from Post University.
Outside of work, I enjoy seeing live music with my husband and our two teenage boys and spending time with our dog, cat, and Holland Lop bunny.
