COVID-19 Update For 2022
Per Gonzaga University's Return to In-Person Instruction Guide 2021: The Chastek Library is closed to the general public. This is subject to change dependent on Gonzaga University's Return to Campus Operations guidance from the City of Spokane, Spokane County, and State of Washington.
Information on this page may have changed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Please contact the Circulation Desk at 509-313-5792 for more information.
Area attorneys who would like library access may request an Affiliate Access Card (AAC) by filling out the request form at the circulation desk, or by downloading and emailing the form below. This initial card comes at no cost to you.
Once the application form is filled out, a GU ID number will be created in the Registrar's office. Upon creation of the GU ID number, an email will be sent to the requestor to submit an approved picture for their ID card, as well as a copy of their government issued ID to Campus Card Services. Until you submit the required documents to Card Services, you will not receive your ZagCard and without your ZagCard you cannot access the library. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
This card will allow the holder access to the library after 6pm until closing, Monday - Friday while the library remains closed to the general public due to COVID, and on weekends during law school community hours. Without the affiliate card, attorneys are held to the public patron access policy, found here.
If you have lost your Affiliate Access Card: Any replacement cards must be paid for by the cardholder at a cost of $30 each. Please go to www.gonzaga.edu/zagcardfee to submit the request to pay by credit/debit card. Once payment is received, Card Services will process the request and the cardholder will receive an email when their new card is ready to be picked up at the Hemmingson Welcome Desk.
