Housing

Gonzaga University has several housing options for international students. These options include on-campus dormitories and apartments with American roomates, near-campus housing with private room and shared kitchen or off-campus housing. Roommates & Conversation Partners

Many ELC students live in dormitories and have American roommates. This allows students a more "authentic" university experience and the opportunity to gain lifelong friendships. Each ELC student is also assigned an undergraduate student mentor for individual guidance, and a conversation partner for informal conversation practice.

Campus Activities

Like most college campuses in the U.S., Gonzaga has a very full activity schedule. Everything from art exhibitions and famous speakers to Hawaiian Luau's and G.U. Basketball Games. Gonzaga is also a very famous Basketball school with lots of team spirit! If you come during basketball season – you can't miss seeing at least one game! Go Zags!


Health Center

The Campus health center is staffed by a full-time doctor and four nurses. Translators are provided free of charge for students who need help in communicating with the medical staff.


Other Information

The International Student Programs Office assists students with visa regulations, academic advising, and social and cultural activities.

The University provides an independent Islamic Student Mosque for our Muslims students' daily prayers and activities.

The International Cultural Center provides a friendly, home-like atmosphere for international students to relax, cook dinner, watch videos, and socialize.
