Delft '26 Weekend 3: Final Weekend Excursions
This story is one of a series written by students in the Gonzaga in Delft program, a course from the Civil Engineering department exploring sustainable practices of the Netherlands.
During their last weekend in the Netherlands, many students stayed close to Delft and discovered new local treasures. Every Saturday in the summer, one of the largest antique markets in the country lines the city center with more than 120 stalls. This is where students enjoyed fresh produce, searched for Delftware, and ate hot stroopwafels as they walked Oude Delft! The weekend had perfect weather as we relaxed and prepared for the last few days of class. A few students even took their remaining free time to go explore Paris!
