Delft '26 Weekend: Traveling in Many Different Styles
This story is one of a series written by students in the Gonzaga in Delft program, a course from the Civil Engineering department exploring sustainable practices of the Netherlands.
Friday night, we said our grateful goodbyes to Dr. Bri Dorie, wishing her safe travels home to Spokane as we transitioned to the final half of our session here in Delft.
This weekend, students split up to visit many different places.

On Friday evening, five of us went to a Harry Styles concert in Amsterdam!
On Saturday and Sunday, students explored Cologne and Dusseldorf, Germany, seeing fascinating architecture such as this cathedral! Others visited Utrecht, Amersfoort, and De Biesbosch National Park.
Some biked to the beach, which was very urban and tourist-oriented with many attractions and food options along the pier and boardwalk.
