Gonzaga's Hachimura Named First Team All-American

Gonzaga’s Rui Hachimura was named First Team All-American by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Tuesday, becoming the third Zag to earn first-team honors by NABC.

Selected and voted on by member coaches of the NABC, the first, second and third teams represent the most outstanding basketball players across America. 

Former Zags, Adam Morrison and Kelly Olynyk, were tabbed first team All-American by the NABC in 2005-06 and 2012-13. Nigel Williams-Goss was the last GU player recognized, earning second team honors in 2016-17.
