About This Event

The 1918 flu pandemic is often cited today as the last, major pandemic that the U.S.--and the world--faced. Join professor Veta Schlimgen Ph.D., on Friday, May 1st at noon when we will revisit that century-old pandemic and evaluate it alongside our current pandemic. The 1918 flu offers lessons and insights into how people confronted unknown disease, what they learned, and what might be in store for us over the next year.
