About This Event

Greater Spokane and Gonzaga community are invited to be a part of this beautiful colorful ceremony. The event inspires individuals to participate in a celebration of the oneness of life and the human family, rising above national boundaries, religion and ideologies. Organizers include One Peace Many Paths and Gonzaga Institute for Hate Studies. The event recognizes International Day of Peace ("Peace Day"), which is observed around the world each year on September 21st. International Day of Peace provides a globally shared date for all humanity to commit to Peace above all differences and to contribute to building a Culture of Peace.

Following the Ceremony, there will be a correlating panel on the topic of Nuclear Disarmament. Information for this event can be found on the Nuclear Disarmament event page
