Shanchieh Jay Yang joins Gonzaga as the director of the new Informatics Institute, aiming to blend AI, data science, and ethics across disciplines.

Yang, an esteemed scholar and leader in the fields of artificial intelligence (AI) and cybersecurity, joined the Gonzaga community in August as the inaugural David and Cathleen Reisenauer Family Director of the Institute for Informatics and Applied Technology.
