What a weekend adventure! Most of us - 13 total - set out for Brussels, Belgium, ready for some excitement and discovery.

Our journey began bright and early, fueled by a good amount of anticipation. The first twist? Most of us missed our connecting train in Breda—turns out, European train schedules aren’t always as precise as you’d think! After a quick side-quest to a market for snacks, before quickly regrouping, we finally caught the next train into Brussels.

We kicked things off at a cozy coffee shop, reenergizing before seeing the stunning Mont des Arts, posing at the Brussels Royal Palace, and strolling through Parc de Bruxelles. The bandstand in this beautiful public park made a great place for portraits.

We attempted to capture every moment, from grand sights to candid.

As the afternoon celebrations started to take place, we wandered down to the iconic Grand-Place. This is the central square of Brussels.

Soon, Pride celebrations were in full swing; flags were everywhere, music made some fun mini dance parties, and the streets were crowded with color.

We split up to dive into Brussels’ treasures—some shopped for chocolate and souvenirs, while others ducked into museums or simply wandered.

By evening, we reunited for a delicious dinner at Fritzgard, where we chatted over juicy burgers and topped Belgian fries. After dinner was complete, some of us caught a train back to Delft while others explored even more before heading back. It was really hard to stay awake on that train ride back, but the experiences of the day were all worth it in the end.
