Merry Christmas, vinyl lovers!

A visit to the Bing Crosby House Museum during the holidays is a longstanding tradition for fans of the classic crooner and anyone looking to get in the spirit of the season, but 2023 offers something a little different.

On Saturday, Dec. 2, from 1-4 p.m., the Advocates for Bing Crosby will host the annual White Christmas open house at the museum packed with memorable memorabilia. While exploring the museum’s holiday-decorated features is a treat worth the trip to the Gonzaga campus, this year the first 50 people to join the party will get a limited-edition 45-rpm record of Bing Crosby’s take on “The Night Before Christmas,” pressed on green vinyl.

“The Night Before Christmas” is one of the songs included on a new Bing Crosby holiday collection, “Bing Crosby’s Christmas Gems,” that includes rare and never-before-released holiday songs culled from Bing’s archive and curated by his estate.

The Bing Crosby House Museum is located at 508 E. Sharp Ave. In Spokane. The White Christmas Open House is free to the public, and runs from 1 p.m.-4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 2. The free 7-inch records are only available to the first 50 visitors.
