Leadership Studies Welcomes Two-Time Alum, Melissa Sussman, to Advisory Board

The School of Leadership Studies is pleased to announce the appointment of a new member to their Advisory Board. Melissa Sussman, Ph.D. brings a wealth of impressive experience and education to the now 18-member board. The board, comprised of notable leaders from local and national organizations, provides strategic planning guidance and expertise to Dean Rosemarie Hunter, Ph.D.

Melissa is a passionate educator who has spent more than 25 years developing adult learners and leaders locally and globally. Her experience spans various industries including government, manufacturing, financial, and as principal to her executive coaching business. Her current role in talent development at Banner Bank, allows her to live out her greatest passion - in guiding learners through transition and toward growth. With deep connections in the Spokane community, Melissa’s contribution to the School of Leadership Studies in the areas of what today’s leaders need to succeed in their careers, will be invaluable. Melissa is a two-time alum from Gonzaga University, earning her doctorate in Leadership Studies in 2010. She is also a proud Navy veteran, mother of two, and grandmother of four.
