Fennessey celebrates his investiture at Gonzaga Law.

Timothy B. Fennessy (’83 J.D.), a longtime Spokane lawyer, was recently elected to the Spokane County Superior Court bench and chose his alma mater Gonzaga Law for his investiture.

The Honorable Michael P. Price (’90 J.D.), Presiding Judge of Spokane County Superior Court, served as Master of Ceremony. Spokane area attorney Mike Myers, and Washington State Supreme Court Chief Justice Mary E. Fairhurst (’84J.D.) provided remarks and the Charge to the Judge.

Fennessy, who has worked as a trial attorney in the Spokane area since his graduation in 1983, was joined by family and friends to celebrate what Judge Fennessy calls “the next chapter in his life.” Fennessy was also recently appointed to serve as the President of the Gonzaga Law Board of Advisors.

Gonzaga Law graduates now hold all 12 judicial positions of the Spokane County Superior Court.
