Why are you in admissions at Gonzaga?
As a student at Gonzaga, I found the most supportive and welcoming community on campus. When you find people that great, it’s hard to leave! I’m passionate about everything Gonzaga has to offer, and I love that I have the opportunity to share that passion with interested students. I’m grateful to play even a tiny role in someone’s journey to becoming a Zag.
Where is your favorite place on campus?
My favorite spot on campus is the John J. Hemmingson Center, especially the Welcome Desk. I worked at the desk as a student employee for about a year, and it became one of the biggest highlights of my college experience. Hemmingson is the center of all the action on campus, and there's always something fun or interesting going on. Don't be afraid to ask questions at the Welcome Desk — that's what they're there for!
What is your favorite thing to do in Spokane?
I love going to the movies, and Spokane has so many great theaters. My personal favorite is the Magic Lantern Theatre downtown, which plays mostly new independent films. The Garland Theatre, a Spokane landmark since 1945, plays popular throwbacks and has showtimes on Wednesdays for only $2.50!
