The How to Zag (HTZ) core orientation sessions are the main topics that will be discussed with all new students as you transition into Gonzaga University. Each of these sessions will include opportunities to hear from key campus partners, programs, departments, and the chance for learning in community with returning students who will be your orientation leaders.
You will be placed into groups of 8-10 first-year students with one-two orientation leader who will facilitate conversations on the topics via Zoom. Orientation leaders have been participating in online summer training in preparation for New Student Orientation. Training topics have included facilitation skills, tough conversations, and ice breakers. Our orientation leaders are ready to welcome you to Gonzaga University.
New students will receive a link to the myGU webpage prior to the start of New Student Orientaiton.
