JD/MSW Programs

In conjunction with the School of Social Work at Eastern Washington University, students may study towards a dual Juris Doctor-Master of Social Work (JD/MSW) degree.

This dual-degree program prepares law and social-work students to practice either profession competently. Graduates will be well prepared to make significant contributions in combined areas, such as Public Benefits, Public Health, Children’s Services, Elder Law, and more.

A four-year program (three years for students with advanced standing in social work), it meets all applicable accreditation guidelines set forth by the American Bar Association and Council on Social Work Education. It will lead successful students to a JD from GU Law School, and a Master’s in Social Work from EWU.
