Real World Experience
Gonzaga's MA TESOL students gain valuable hands-on teaching experience through the Summer Language Program.
The Summer Language Program is structured to address the teaching and learning needs of its students, allowing you, as a master's student to acquire important knowledge to better serve a variety of different learning and teaching populations.
While you will be introduced to a broad range of second language principles, theories and methods, the course will remain student-centered, meaning you will focus on your students' particular teaching situations, areas of interest, or fields of research.

MTSL 501: Theory and Practice of Language Teaching - 3 Credits
MTSL 580: TESOL practicum - 1 Credit
If you are a current MA TESOL student you can register on Zagweb.
The program will accept Master's and Certificate students until the 25 spots have been filled.
