Diversity & Social Justice in Education Conference

Conference Information:

Open to all GU students, faculty, and staff! Featuring two keynote presentations and nearly 40 student-led presentations, this conference promises to be an outstanding event for all who attend. Attendance is free, and snacks and beverages are provided! Sponsored by the Office of a Pedagogy of Hope.

 

 

 

Theme: Constructing a Future of Belonging

The theme of this conference centers around building a world that is inclusive, equitable, and reflective on the current state of belonging. This conference aims to give students a space to discuss and present on interdisciplinary topics that intersect with diversity, inclusion, equity, and social justice matters. Participants are encouraged to include perspectives across diverse identities including but not limited to education, religion, nationality, political beliefs, ethnicity, (dis)ability, age, gender identity, or socioeconomic background.
